- Alternatively, you can set the dial-up to only connect at a certain speed.

- Using the Properties window for your Dial-up connection, select Configure. In the
- Maximum Speed box, you can indicate you only want connection at that speed.

- You have to redial, though, since this causes termination of the call if the connection
- cannot be made. This can be frustrating...
